Millipedes

Millipedes are a common pest that normally lives outside in damp places, such as under decaying leaves or mulch, even under thick thatched grass. They feed on damp and decaying vegetable matter as well as on new roots and green leaves. Millipedes have two pairs of legs per body segments. Complaints of millipedes often happen in the fall when it is suspected they are looking for a hibernation spot, and also after periods of heavy rain when the water table rises and forces them to find dry ground.
